LODGE 1186 Southern California News  Congressman John Campbell (R-48) visits UPS9/16/2006 Last May a Delegation from our Local Lodge attended the 2006 Legislative Conference in Washington D.C. During that week our Delegates lobby our politicians about issues that affect us union members as Social Security Reform, Overtime Pay, Outsourcing US Jobs, Health Care costs etc. Amoung other Senators and Congresspersons we talked to Congressman John Campbell (R-48th District). Several emails and letters proceeded and Congressman Campbell agreed to visit one of UPS buildings in Southern California. During the visit Local 1186 member Florio Antunovich took the Congressman on a tour of the building and spoke to him about important issues affecting us. |
